With the 3 Machined Slots in the Register Mount Hole there is no need to remove the existing Snap Ring and Aluminum Retainer. Just install the bracket into your car and slide the Steering Box in. This Precision Machined Mount is lighter and stronger than any other Steering Box Mount on the market. Fully Machine Radiused from 6061 T-6 Billet Aluminum.
